Hello, I have a question about our router. We have two computers in 2 bedrooms, one of them is hooked up directly to a router, the other one is via a wireless card. In the room without a router the Internet and the connection in general is low. The rooms aren't too far away. When we lived in the previous house, the rooms were on different floors and the Internet was working perfectly. Is this because of the router? Did we connect it wrong? Any help or advise is appreciated. Thanks.

What happens if you wire the computer that is wireless into the router?

It's in the other room, so we can't really wire it. I am actually trying to avoid it. Anything else we can do without it? Thanks.

Can you move the router around and see if the connection is faster?
