So, I got a new ipod nano for christmas, which needs itunes version 7.4 to run. I have itunes version 7 on my computer currently, so I download the newest version from apple.com, no problem. When I try to run the installer though, it says "invalid drive: G:\" and aborts. What's the deal with that?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling? Should work.

I think he couldn't even start installing it.

Try re-downloading the client again?

My meaning: Uninstall the previous one on your computer and install from the executable.

I figured it out, but thanks for your help. I was going to do what you said, but I was too worried it would uninstall and not reinstall. What I did is I threw a pen drive in and renamed it the G drive and somehov it worked, I dont know why, but it did

It wouldn't uninstall and refuse to reinstall. It just won't. :)

Well, I'm not really sure of what you mean, but glad to hear it's working.
