I loaded this game Bejeweled 2 and played it.
When I quit the game and exited the PC shut down and restarted!

Now When I try to play the game, the splash screen appears But clicking on the play button causes the PC to shut down and restart.

What is happening here?
Is it the game or the graphics card?
(nvidia geforce 8400 gs)

I updated nvidia drivers,
I also updated to directX 10

Thank You

maybe you should try a sysem restore and see wether the problem is still persisting.if not then you know it could possibly be a driver that could be the cause to your problem

Have you tryed uninstalling the game and reinstalling it.
Sounds like it has not loaded all the correct files to launch the game application.

Thanks for the replies!

I have since tried restore, It did not work.
I have also tried uninstall & reinstall several times.
The game is currently uninstalled.

I know that this game did work on the previous PC running WinXP.
It's just now that I built this barebones system that is doesn't work.

I also installed a game called Railroad Tycoon 2, Which seems to run just fine.

Is there anything I could try to get this game working?

Thank You
