help! i have a free norton security scanner installed in my pc and it keeps on detecting this high risk trojan.wimad...

my avg anti-virus and ad-aware can't detect it though and i researched it on the net and some said it could cause my pc to slow but some said its not that harmful.

please help me!

Hello confused_here and welcome to G2G, let's start with this, then I can review the log and propose a fix. :)

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.
