dr watson's postmortum debugger

ok i'm having some issues,.....for some reason a box popped up on my computer saing that dr watson's postmortum debugger has an error and needs to close,....that isn't the issue,.....the issue is that i do not have dr. watson's postmortum debugger anywhere on my computer,..i have done a full system search and it is nowhere to be found,....after that box popped up my entire computer froze,...the only thing i could do is type,...i couldn't move my mouse or anything,....so i want to know what it is and why it was messing with my computer,....somebody pls help me

Hi there! The problem you are describing is actually a Malware infection. Please read the thread found Here and then follow the instructions.

Once you have done so, please reply to your thread here with a copy of your HijackThis log for us to review, and we'll be happy to get you fixed up! :tazz:

no problem, Tiffany! It really isn't as difficult as it all sounds, I promise! Just take it step by step, as each thing will remove some of the problems for us. This way, when you get them done and post the HJT log, it should be an easy fix from there! I'll check back tomorrow to see how you're doing. If you have any questions along the way, please post them here and I'll answer them as soon as I can!

well now i'm having another problem,...i downloaded adaware like you told me to and restarted my computer and now i can't find that,....what do i do?

The program downloaded completely? Go to Start>Search and click to search for "all files and folders" and enter search terms aawsepersonal and then search for where it was downloaded to. when you find the installer, simply double click on it to start the installation!
