Hello, This has got me stumped. I have a folder which contains data I recovered from a older HD. I used the built in encryption that windows offers (which I have had no problems with in the past.) Now, after using the encryption I cant access any of the files. I can see the data but when I try to open them I get an access denied error. I cant remove the encryption, I get the same error. I tried to reclaim ownership of the files which did not work. The only thing I did not do was reclaim ownership with the built in admin account because it would cause me to reclaim the whole profile, not just that specific folder and I had a bad filing that would cause more harm then good( I do a lot of reg hacks and settings reconfigurations on my home computer). Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
