I am trying to download movies from my Sony Video Camera into my Dell 8300 desktop with Radeon 9000 video card and Soundblaster Audigy 2 sound card. I am running Windows XP. In the past I have been able to transfer films madw with my camcorder to my computere and capture both sound and video perfectly using either Windows Move Maker or Sonic's Create DVD. For some reason, I get the video fine but no sound. I tried reinstalling my sound card, but that made no difference. I have mad sure there are no boxes checked that would be muting sound. Other movies already on my hard drive play the sound fine. It is just that when the video comes over my composite lines connecting my camcorder with my computer all I am getting is video.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this problem. I have no other sound issues on the computer. There are no yellow ? in Device Manager either. The film I am using in my camcorder is Hi 8.

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.
