I am running Outlook 2000 over a VPN connection and connecting to a remote exchange server. The application runs fairly smoothly accept when the application is closed or exited. A small floating message box (looks more like a bar) states that Outlook is closing down but it never goes away. I need to go into Task Manager every time to completely close the application. The main application windows do close properly, it is only this floating window that persists. Those accustomed to Outlook will probably know what I mean.

This isn't the end of the world but it is annoying, any ideas?
OS Windows XP SP2
