I cannot sign into Internet Explorer, Yahoo, Yahoo Messenger, Myspace Messenger, and AVG. Other programs are going down slowly but surely. Whenever I try to access them I get the following messages.

Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access this item. Or Could not load or run C/WINDOWS/system32/vtstu.exe Make sure file exists or remove reference in registry.

I also tried to download COMODO firewall and it isn't working either.

I can still run my AdAware but not much else.

I sure hope you can help me. I'm not very computer savvy or technologically inclined :)

Thank you.

Howdy and welcome to GTG:

I suggest you go to the Malware Forum and run all the steps located in the START HERE. These self-help tools will help you clean up 70% of problems on your own. If you are still having problems after doing the steps, then please post a HiJackThis Log in THAT forum. If you are unable to run and/or post a HJT log, then post that in your initial post in the topic you create in that forum.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
