I would like to know why C-drive shows up where desktop is at bootup? I do not want to see it like this and would like to keep it from showing up each boot. Thanks for any help!

When I boot, motherboard shows, microsoft windows 98 then pops, then desktop pops up. The icon is there on the desktop to select my internet explorer. However, C-drive comes popping up also. I do not wish to see the C-drive everytime I boot, if I want to see it I go to my control panel.

Simply I want C-drive to quit popping up for anyone to see on boot.

Not normal behaviour.

Start -> Run -> type in MSCONFIG. Disable the lot, reboot and see what happens.
