I was making a new account on xp, and copying all my music over. But then my roomate deleted this new account, thinking it was just a guest account and all of my music was deleted with it. Is there any way i can get it back? Ive tried system restore but no luck.

I've had success using a program called Restoration. There are other free file undelete programs available as well.

A Google search for free file undelete gets lots of hits.

The less you use your system until you run this program, the better chance you will have of recovering the files. Having already done a System Restore, I don't know how successful you will be.

I used a program called Recuva, and managed to get back around 3/4's which seems pretty lucky!
