can external hard drive backup 2 computers

I have a seagate one touch with bounceback express. I have been using it to backup my xp (not in sets) can i keep that info on it and start backing up my new vista computer or will it delete info on it's own?

Depends how the program works.
You should be able to have two backups on it but do check the program documentation before you commit, otherwise there's no point doing it.
