HDA Bus Driver Required but missing

Just built a new rig
q6600
2gb ram
8800 GT
Asus P5n32-e SLI

OS: WinXP Service pack 2

After installing all the usual on the pc i realised there was no sound, went to the driver CD and tried to install the sound, and was met with this error "The HDA Bus Driver Is Required but Missing" then the setup aborts.... umm halpz? ^^

i actually have that HDA bus driver on my pc here. but for the life of me i can't find it on the net. try looking for kb888111xpsp2

edit: that one may only work for realtek ^^^ try this one for other sound devices:

Rawr, thanks for the links

Managed to fix it, just went into the BIOS disabled it.. booted up with my other soundcard
shutdown.. went back to BIOS turned the onboard sound back on again.. booted up and it worked :-s no idea what i did differently but in true pc style, disable..enable FIX
