Installation halts during examination of my computer (i.e., Inspecting current configuration)... Tells me, and the [u]Actual message is...

"c:\program files\internet explorer\connection wizard\phone.ver is open or in use by another application Close it and resume. "

I have hunted in every place I know to hunt and can't find IE running anywhere. When I go to c:\program files\internet explorer I am told "access denied".

I haven't used IE in years. I use Firefox. What to do????
