I just bought a new motherboard and i'd like to know how you go about installing a hard drive onto it which has been 'used' (already has XP on it). I've got a basic idea but I want to make sure it's perfect, thanks.

You should atleast do a repair install of XP, if you want perfect then a full format and reinstall is best, if you still want more perfection zero fill the drive then format and reinstall.
