Prepare for a somewhat lengthy tale:

I had some spyware problems a little while ago and you guys helped me to no end. I downloaded the Spyware blaster and the search and destroy and ran them according to the instruction, deleting a few files but only ones that I KNEW were spyware. Everything was fine after that...

Then I was running low on memory so I purchased some RAM from a major retail chain, that I knew I shouldn't have gone to in the first place, finding it to be the wrong PC 133 RAM for my PC 100/PC133 RAM input. I got my money back and re-installed the old RAM and everything was fine.

-Side note- Why does some PC 133 RAM seem to be the proper RAM for my comp but other PC-133 RAM looks completely different and isn't recognized by my comp??

Now today, the day after all of these RAM problems, I turn on my comp and find an error message on my logon screen:
Error loading: C:\WINDOWS\System32\NvCpl.dll
and then my computer restarts on its own volition
When it reboots it asks if I want to start windows normally or return to the last known good configuration. I try normal and get nowhere but back to the error message. Then I try the last known option and I am up and running except for the following:
My Norton Anti-Virus will not load
I have a whole new error message saying: DLL Initialization failed
My display settings are screwed
and I feel like crying.... <_<

My last ditch effort is to send my XP error report which tells me a device driver is causing the problem but they don't know exactly why and then I try to RESTORE my system but it is a no go.

Perhaps I deleted something useful with the anti-spyware software so I run its restore; but no help again.

Have I killed my computer?
What are my options?

Your errors all seem to be related to Norton Antivirus. Usually, just uninstalling, and then re-installing will work. If not, consider uninstalling Norton, and install the free version of AVG's antivirus program (it's just as good).

Download AVG here: http://www.grisoft.c...s_dwnl_free.php

All my problems could be from Norton Anti-virus but here are some other problems in addition to my display settings being horribly disfigured, as I mentioned.
My browser will not open any links (ie. the "my assistant" link on your page)
My Media Player is suddenly not installed correctly
On some sites I can not click on thumbnails or video links.

This seems like a big problem to me so any help would be appreciated.

:D If I have to wipe the slate clean I am wonderring if there is a way for me to keep my OS and MS OFFICE because I cannot find my installation discs. <_<

You log looks clean. Okay, here's my best guess at what happened. The new memory you purchased was bad, causing memory errors. These errors probably corrupted your Windows installation. I'd recommend you try a repair installation. See a guide here:
