Hi,
Everytime I restart my pc my computer freezes up after the "drwatson postmortem debugger message comes up. The only way I can by pass the dr watson freeze up is if I click on another program before dr watson shows up, then my pc flickers, all icons disappear and reappear and it works fine afterwards. How do I solve the problem of dr watson appearing? Help please,
Sue
here's my highjackthis file.

Get a copy of winsockxpfix.exe before you do anything. This is just a safety
item in case you can't get on the internet afterwards. You just run it and
things should work OK after it reboots your system.

http://www.iup.edu/h...net/winfix.shtm

Get Advanced Process Manipulator from

http://www.diamondcs...p?page=products and install it.

Also download and install ccleaner.exe from http://www.ccleaner.com. Don't let
it clean anything yet.

Start then Right click on My Computer and select Manage. In the new window select Services and Applications then Services. In the right pane look for ZESOFT or Zeta and double click on it. Change the Start Type to Disabled and then Apply. Then STOP the service.

Now Reboot into Safe Mode by shutting down and when you see the computer maker's logo start tapping the F8 key. When you get the Safe Mode Menu select the top item.

Run APM (Start, Run, c:\atm\atm.exe, OK)

In the top window find winlogon.exe and highlight it. In the bottom pane scroll down and find reset5.dll. If you find it, right click on it and Unload DLL. You should get a little box with an OK button. Keep clicking the OK buttons until no more boxes show up. Then go back to the top window and repeat for explorer.exe and iexplore.exe. You may not find it in them.

Right click on Start and Explore.
on the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
On the View tab, uncheck Hide file extensions for known file types.
uncheck Hide protected operating system files. Then, under the "Hidden files" folder, click Show hidden files and folders.
If you see a warning message, click Yes.
Click Apply.
Click OK.

Navigate to C:\windows\system32

Change your views (last icon on the bottom toolbar on the right) to Details.

locate each of the files on this list and note the date and time:
reset5.dll
msfaol.dll
mskhhe.dll,
_861c.exe
ppn.exe
mdc.exe
racertt.exe
tlanmann.exe
3Gamma2S.exe
llhst3gd.exe
msedpb.exe

Then sort by date by clicking on Modified. Delete ALL files that have the same date and time +/- 5 minutes as one of the above.

Switch to the Windows folder and find Zeta.exe and repeat the above.

Now Start, Find,
Run HijackThis and just do a Scan only. Check the following and then Fix
Checked.

Now run ccleaner.exe. On the first page, uncheck everything but the two lines
that have the word Temporary in them then Run Cleaner.

Start, Run, then type:

del /q c:\windows\prefetch\*.*

and OK.

(Same as before with _ instead of space to make it easier to see. )

del _ /q _ c:\windows\prefetch\*.*

Reboot and post a new HijackTHis log and let's see if we made any progress.
