Hello All,

Had a gateway 2 wire modem that died. Was replaced by a wireless modem. When the new modem was installed, wanted to have a secure home network, so we named it and created a netwrok key. Problem: daughter went off to college, came back for break and brought her computer back and I cannot recall the key. Is there any way to recall the key or can I simply change it somehow?

Thanks

Usually you can either view or change the key via the wireless router administration portal. You can usually access it by typing "http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1" in your web browser. It could also be something different, just depends on your router manufacturer.

We do not condone the cracking of wireless keys so that will not be discussed, just in case :)
