Stats:

Acer Aspire 3100

Windows Vista Home Basic

Dual 128MB AMD graphics cards

Dual 40GB hard drives

1.5GB of RAM, 256 being used by the OS

-----------------------------------------------------

Mouse:

AMW05US | Targus Notebook Wireless Rechargeable Optical Mouse

-----------------------------------------------------

Problem:

The mouse has been working perfectly for some time now, it's one
of the best mice I have ever had to be honest. But, for some reason
it has recently stopped working for me. The red light is on for both
the mouse and the receiver, both doing just as they always have.
Yet, now my pointer is gone...

Not really sure why my mouse has abandoned me, but with the games
that I play and working with Photoshop a lot, I need it back.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Thank you in advance to all those who offer their aid.
