I don't understand the motherboard specifications so I was wondering if my MSI MS-7260 motherboard will work with my incomming AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core (5600+) 2.8Ghz processor?

Howdy:

Well, all you needed to do was read the specs on the mobo.

5200+ is the highest it supports.

Oh, well that makes sense :)

I just don't understand like
550 Chipset
Socket AM2
240-pin
PC-6400

I was thinking that I might also get a new mobo, because the inputs on the back are old.
