Recover file accessed from USB storage

I have had an excel file in my USB that i recently accessed 2 days ago on my PC, edited and saved back to the USB.

However I have lost this USB storage now and need that Excel sheet urgently. Is there any way to recover it from the PC it was accessed form?

PLease Help

If its never been saved on the PC's machine there will be no trace of it.
