My friend down(up)graded from Vista to XP Pro. However he forgot to backup his drivers and such. Now he can't find his ethernet drivers. He has a laptop: Toshiba Satellite A135-S4666. He can't get his LAN or wireless to work because apparently any driver he downloads doesn't work. He had all other drivers work (that I gave him).

Any tips or advice? I thought I gave him all the correct drivers, but everything BUT the LAN and wireless drivers work.

It seems that this unit was for Vista. I searched HERE, and then went to the UK site as they indicated.

DRIVERS FROM UK.

Try those.

I gave him these and they didn't work. I'll have to see if anything needs to simply configured from BIOS.
