i just installed madden 08 but when i try to play it, it won't play and says something about the application failing to start because d3dx9_30.dll was not found and i tried re-installing it but that doesn't work and i downloaded 2 video and sound card updates but it still didn't work.

Hello, I think this will solve your problem:
d3dx9_30.dll Download this and put it in your madden 08 directory...

I sure hope this works,
