I have had such a hard time saving my logfile for some odd reason, but ive finally gotten it saved... anyway before i read more into the topic... i was ready to get rid off anything that i personally found suspicious... which was close to everything... but then i read that i should seek help and one of my friends told me about this website as it helped him before.....

well anyway if anyone could help me with this log file it would mean so much to me, and thanks for spending your time on somebody else's problem, (mine :tazz: )

Click here to download CWShredder v2.14 and run it, hit 'fix' as opposed to 'scan only'. Reboot when done.

Click here to download Spybot Search & Destroy v1.3 - install, update, scan and fix all RED items it finds. Reboot when done.

Click here to download Ad-Aware SE and install. Before scanning click on "check for updates now" to make sure you have the latest reference file. Click "Start", select "Perform Full System scan" and "Next" to start the scan. When the scan is finished, the screen will tell you if anything has been found, click "Next". The bad files will be listed, right click the pane and click "Select all objects" - this will put a check mark in the box at the side, click "Next" again and click "OK" at the prompt "# objects will be removed. Continue?". Reboot when done.

Click here to download Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta, check for updates and run it. Reboot when done.

Rescan with HJT and post a new log here so that any remnants can be removed manually.

First of all, click the link and follow the instructions to remove New.Net.

http://www.newdotnet.com/removal.html

Make sure that you have no browser windows open as this could prevent the fix from working properly. Open HijackThis, scan and when complete, remove the following entries by checking the box to the left and clicking 'fixed checked':

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {8F0D7B6F-22E6-4B26-8EEA-69B873522AE0} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\javajq32.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [atlnl32.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\atlnl32.exe

Exit HijackThis when done. Reboot into Safe Mode by tapping F8 after the BIOS has loaded. Using Windows Explorer, find and delete the following:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\atlnl32.exe

Exit Explorer and reboot into Normal Mode. Rescan with HijackThis and post a new log here.

It is definately running better if not fixed :tazz: ! I haven't had my homepage or internet preferences changed, i havent seen any pop-ups and my Mcaffee viruscan does not encounter the same 5 trojans every 10 minutes.... I think it really is fixed! i havent seen anything yet that i had before, and some error messages i had whenever i logged into my account dont show up anymore ...

Thanks so much for your help, without it, i probably would have just deleted anything in Hijack This that i thought looked weird... ( that probably would have made it a lot worse...)

oh and if you don't mind me asking, what exactly is atlnl32.exe ? how do you get it on your computer usually? (this is my computer but it is shared with my roomates) was it the main cause behind most of the problems? or just one of them ? well at least we got rid of it by going into safe mode...

sorry for taking away your time by making you read all of this, but i just wanted to say thanks so much once again, for helping me clear up these problems.

;)

You're welcome - glad to help :tazz:

To help keep you clean follow the recommendations in Tony's article here:
