When we got our new computer no recovery disc was included. I was told to make my own back up copy. It said to get 2 audio CDs which I did. But when I go to do it , it keeps telling me to insert the CD which is already in there. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to do something to the CD first?
I need to start over completely. Can someone tell me what to do? Thanks. :)

I might be wrong but I think you have to use DVD's, at least I did.

I also did a complete image of my computer, which took 5 DVD's.

When you get to the back up/restore panel in Control panel, make sure your selecting the drive you have your cd in.

I am almost certain it said audio CD which I thought was strange. Everything is downloaded to the computer but it just won't recognize the CD...I'll try DVD...it won't hurt. Thanks for your input.

PsychPosse is right. Vista is way bigger than XP, no way will it fit on a couple of CDs!
5 x DVDs sounds more like it, as Psych said.
