How can i stop the belkin software running my wireless connections and return control to windows? I am running windows xp sp2.

You can go to add and remove programs in the control panel.
1. click on the start button
2. select control panel
3. open add and remove programs
remove the belkin software.
Now reboot your machine and let windows find the new hardware.
Allow the found new hardware wizard to install the drivers for your wireless card
(you should be hardwired to the router so windows can find the driver on the INTERNET)
