OK, lets try something simple, unplug the modem and router for about 10 seconds.
Plug them back in and wait for 2 minutes before connecting.
This is weird, did anything happen right before this started?

I have done that multiple times and nothing happened before this issue and it actually only happened twice in a row and now I have had a good connection I am just worried about that limited to no connectivity popping up again since we really haven't changed anything.

I guess this wasn't just an easy switch or change of something trivial like I thought...man what a pain in the butt, all I want is a reliable internet connection. I have a wire running across my whole apartment and it still isn't working. The best part is no one can figure out why...Ugh

This may sound really dumb, but would denying the svchost.exe cause any of these issues?

What type of internet do you have cable or dsl(You can only use routers with those 2)?
type 192.168.0.1 then type admin in the user name the run the wizard it will
1.first ask for a password (the one below user name went you log in 192.168.0.1) set it up
2.next its time
3 set the internet connection type if cable use dynamic ip address if dsl PPPoE
4 (if cable i dont use dsl and dont know how to set it)It will ask you to set dynamic ip address i suggest leaving it the same
5( should be 6 if dsl or the same number) SSID the name of the wireless access point channel put 6
6 the type of encryption (probably will say wep) for the access point depends on the security you want set it to 64bits or 128 and the key but dont leave your wireless point open to others or they steal your internet wireleslsy or leave it open until you solved this problem
Or the the easy way is find a pogram on the net that sets it automatically if i could just remember the name of the program that came with mine I will try to find my Cd and the program name
Hope this help
