it happens when i try to install xp this is the first time it happened any ideas? cause my teacher wont tell me please help me

This error during Windows XP install process usually means the CD drive is faulty.
Even though the drive may seem to be working fine for other tasks, or used to work fine in Windows, it could still be
faulty enough to prevent you installing Windows -- fitting a new CD drive should fix it.

it worked thanks i just needed a slower CD drive i never thought it was a problem
