Office 2003 will not install

I have tried to re-install my office 2003 on my computer, running Windows XP and keep getting an error message: application failed to initialize (0x0150002). I have removed office from my computer, using every method possible. I reinstalled, with the same result. Has anyone got any ideas as to what is wrong, and how I can fix this? Thanks
