Correct! Once you have the Run box, you type regedit in the Open box and then press the Enter key or click on OK.

after i enter mavemapper , then were do i type "msacm32.drv".. i did everything else

im having the same problem and i have xp its not lime wire cuz i uninstald it i did the thing with run lat night it did not work mabe we can fix this quick befor we lose our cool keep me posted if any thing canges i will do the same

UGHHHHHHH I AM SO FED UP WITH THISSSSS..... last time this happened the sound just randomly came back one day

From the post you made:

My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32

And then on the right pane, right click and click on New, select String value, enter "wavemapper" (without quots of course), ENTER, type "msacm32.drv", ENTER.


So you started regedit then navigated the entries till you got to Drivers32 as shown above, right?
You added a new String value called wavemapper (not mavemapper).

You should then be able to press the Enter key with wavemapper selected or double click on it then enter the value msacm32.drv as described.

Close regedit.
