yes the screen on the laptop is working....will connect to the net now....

When I connect the cable...nothing happened like before. But there is no net connection there also.
The device manager is empty?

When I go to the system restore to create a new restore as I am saving the new name...windows flashes me a blue screen with an error msg (to fast for me to read) and reboots the laptop?

Turn off automatic restart so you can read the information.

Right click on My Computer.
Click Properties / Advanced / Startup and Recovery Settings.
Uncheck box for "Automatically restart".
