Hokay, I'm a n00b. Big deal. At least I am a noob who knows what he is talking about ;) Alright, I have been having problems playing Halo for PC. It told me when I started it up that I should get updated drivers. I got the newest catalyst from ATI and went from there. The catalyst didn't work. It told me that I didn't have the required hardware/software to run the catalyst. So, I emailed ATI. They told me I needed a thorough reinstall of my display drivers. I did all of the things they told me to do, and I restarted my computer. It comes up in only 1024x768 instead of the full 1280x800. Then it tells me that my Video Controller (VGA Compatible) Driver is missing when I run the catalyst. NO DUH. It uninstalled my VGA Driver with all of my ATI stuff. Now, I desperately need this driver, otherwise I won't be able to do anything graphics-wise on here ever again. I don't have my restore cd's, trust me I looked, and that is the only place eMachines told me that they have 'em. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, and please respond ASAP. :tazz:
