Course I hope you all realize none of the speed is entirely accurate considering all of the sites you visit may be halfway around the world :). Speed is affected by thus. Choose the closest server to you will always show the best speed but for actual download speeds "ymmv". In the US for general public Chicago, Atlanta, and Texas are generally some of the fastest.

Also try http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/

For a more accurate reading, try testing a london server :).

I'd have to give my ISP a 4, but it could never be a 5.
There's no servers allowed (unless you pay a fee). :)
At least the speeds are pretty consistent :)
I just wish I had 5 digit speeds like the other people in this thread... :wave:

If I did this from my local public school, I would have 100mbps for both upload and download speeds.
Now to understand why the residents can't get that... :)
