I have a word document that I need to cut and paste into an email. It won't let me cut. I tried adding it as an attachment, but the reciever could not open it. Can you help?

Hello,

The most likely reason the attachment couldn't be opened is because the recipient does not have Word. I assume you are talking about Microsoft Word. Or they may have Word but it is an older version than yours.
I am not sure why you can't cut and paste. Can you copy and paste?

Try this.

When you have your Word document open: (The document is selected)

Hold the Control Key down and press the A key

While still holding the Control Key down, now press the C key

Now go to your mail page and put the cursor where you want it.

Hold the Control Key down and press the V key

Hope that works for you.

Or try saving the Word document in rich text format which the recipient should be able to open. Save As and select .rtf in the drop-down.
