As if I never introduced myself in this thread!

I was in so many bands in high school...

*troy counts to himself...

6 - and each had their own practice before/after school etc...

I play electric and acoustic guitar, bass guitar, drums, and I used to sing "I Will Survive" (Cake variant) down at the Great Western Bar on Wednesday nights. I can't sing for nuts, but after a few jugs of beer, I could sing that one song really well (and I was playing the bass for it at the time - have you heard that riff???) The sound tech dude actually recorded it for me so I could listen to it sober, it was actually really good :) Shame I didn't get a copy off him before I moved.

And I used to own an Ibanez RG570 custom edition, it was translucent purple over black with gold hardware, I'm still kicking myself that I traded it in. Next guitar is going to be a PRS, I swear :)

Thanks for listening to my rant!

I play the electric & acoustic guitar, dobro, mandolin, banjo, bass, and the pee-anner.

I also play the radio fairly well, and I play [bleep] whenever I get the chance.

I try to play all types of music . Bluegrass, rock and roll, blues, jazz, country, funk and everything in between. If it's got a good groove or feel to it, I like it .

My claim to fame would be I've jammed several times with Ivan Hampton ,voted as one of the greatest drummers in the world, by Modern Drummer magazine. This dudes played with everybody; Beyonce, Crosby Stills and Nash,Chaka Kahn, Stephanie Mills, Luther Vandross (his main drummer for over 15 years) the Late Night Band and the Tonight Show band and many others.

And I once hugged Emmylou Harris. That was a lot of fun!!!!
