Hello, I have a computer running XP Home and was working fine. I didn't install any new software or hardware, but when I turned on the computer this past monday I got this BSOD:

Stop 0X000008E (0xc0000005, 0xBF84CAA6, 0xF8027C30, 0x00000000)

WIN32K.SYS - address BF84CAA6 base at BF800000, Datestamp 45F013F6

also right now, i can't even boot into safemode, if anyone can help me fix this issue it would be greatly appreciated

krmoo, hellsaint said in his initial post that he had not installed any new software or hardware.

This kind of error can be caused by defective memory, so the first thing I would do is run a memory test program. Either of the following will do:

Memtest86
Microsoft Memory Diagnostic

Also, have you had any malware infections that you removed recently or did you run a registry cleaner?
