I need a new sound driver. Where can I find one???? All I can find about my sound card is is its a SB AUDIGY AUDIO (DC00).
I found a site on the internet http://www.drivershq.com/ that did a scan of the drivers on my computer and it said 63% of them were bad including my sound driver. They wanted a one time fee of $29.95 so I could download the drivers.
Is this place for real???? If not,is there a way to scan my computer to see if my drivers are bad or need updating????

I can't seem to find any. You might want to try this:

http://www.drivershq.com/predd.asp

You can't fix it there. But you'll find out what exactly your system calls your soundcard. After the scan, report back here with what drivers it said you needed so we can go find them for you. <_<

Here's what it showed:
(the items that said update available were bad)
In regards to the sound card,it doesn't specify the type.
I already went to the manufactures site but I need more info
Driver Detective has successfully scanned your computer and has
determined the following:

Correct Drivers Installed: 37% WRONG Drivers Installed:
63%

Driver Detective and WebXscan have determined that your system
has a SIGNIFICANT amount of updates needed and recommends that
you UPDATE YOUR DRIVERS NOW FOR YOUR SYSTEM TO RUN AT PEAK
PERFORMANCE.

Maybe this'll say it's name:

1. Right click on "My Computer" and choose "Properties"
2. Click the "Hardware" tab at the top, and then "Device Manager" at the middle
3. Then choose "Sound, video, and game controllers
4. Tell me what "SoundBlaster" or "SB" items it lists

Thanks,
Nathan

There are 12 different models and all I can find out about the sound card is:
SB AUDIGY AUDIO (DC00) and this sound card was made in July 2002,so I don't know which to download.
I called the manufacture and they said that they don't have updates for this sound card because this is an OEM installed sound card.
