I have 3 icons on my desk top that i dont know where they came from: spyware & malware protection, privacy protection, error cleaner.
then the following warnings where popping up: security warning worm.win32.netsky was detected on your machine.... security risk 5 reccomendation to click to remove. that didnt work.
Also system alert that the sys. dectected virus activity and i need to perform a scan.
Windows says i may be infected with a virus, asware or spyware--this website want me to download which i dont want to since i'm not sure what to do
I have norton 360 nothing was found after a complete scan, other that something was fixed(sorry not sure)
I followed your steps: atf cleaner, sys restore, avg scan, superantispyware scan(there were 516 treats), panda scan (not sure if this worked i never got a report), updated windows, BUT i still have things popping up.
I am presently doing all my research and typing on my laptop since the desktop isnt really moving-is this OK
