Hi. I've been hijacked by the smitfraud.c and hotoffers virus. I've already gotten rid of the blue background on my desktop, but now it's completely black and there is this red circle with a white 'X' in it and every so often it pops up saying "Warning! Unknown popups detected". My homepage also keeps changing to http://www.hotoffers.info/ad0237/ and while I'm browing different websites, it just goes back to the hotoffers website automatically. Please please help me!!

I've already ran my norton antivirus, adware, spybot, killbox, cleanup, and I just finished running panda.. so here is my hijack log:

Click here to download Pocket Killbox by Option^Explicit. Extract it from the zip file then double-click on Killbox.exe to run it. In the 'Full Path of File to Delete' box, copy and paste the following, clicking the red 'Delete File' button after pasting each one:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\param32.dll
C:\Program Files\Media Access\MediaAccK.exe

Click 'Exit' when done.

Make sure that you have no other browser windows open as this could prevent the fix from working properly. Open HijackThis, scan and when complete, remove the following entries by checking the box to the left and clicking 'fixed checked':

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.hotoffers.info/ad0237/
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = http=:0
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Media Access] C:\Program Files\Media Access\MediaAccK.exe
O9 - Extra button: Microsoft AntiSpyware helper - {40A1FAD1-2BDB-4613-AD3A-3F59F4BF57E3} - (no file) (HKCU)
O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Microsoft AntiSpyware helper - {40A1FAD1-2BDB-4613-AD3A-3F59F4BF57E3} - (no file) (HKCU)
O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} (RdxIE Class) - http://software-dl.r...ip/RdxIE601.cab

Reboot when done. Rescan with HJT and post a new log for a final check over.
