Will the ATI Overdrive feature used for overclocking that comes with my HD3850 graphics card will void the warranty?

All damage caused by an end-user voids all warranties that the item comes with.
Having said that, if you kill a graphics card through overclocking it through software alone, and it doesn't leave any physical damage on the card, who's going to know? Interesting situation.
