Can somebody pls. tell me the cause of slow processing speed on my PC running XP ?

Do i need to upgrade the RAM to increase the speed or something else ?

There is no way anyone here can help you with the information you provided.

Think about the question you're asking then provide the information that would be needed to answer it. Things like:

1. Was it always slow or is this a new problem
2. What is the processor speed
3. How much memory do you have
4. How big is the hard drive, how much free space is there
5. Have you cleaned the drive

If this is a fairly recent problem

1. What hardware or software have you added or removed
2. Have you run a registry cleaner
3. Have you removed any malware (virus, trojan, etc.)
4. Have you applied Windows Updates around the time this started happening
