I am really hoping that someone can help me with this problem. For several weeks I have been receiving an error message when I am doing anything online. I have searched everywhere and have not been able to fix it. The error message is as follows....

Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library

Program: c:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\ccProxy.exe

File:\program files\microsoft visual studio 8\vc\include\xtree

Expression: map/set interators incompativle

For information on how your program can cause an assertion

failure, see the Visual C++ documentation on assets.

(Press Retry to debug the application)

Abort Retry Ignore

Everytime this message comes up it completely shuts down by browser and I have to restart the entire computer to get back online. I don't know a whole lot about computer software issues, but I am sure someone out there can walk me through this issue. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You
