My ISP, Rogers, have notified me that my computer has been sending spam for the last few days so they decided to kill off my internet completely - not even allowing me to use any online-scanners - thus forcing me to post this at a relatives computer.
I've tried talking to my ISP to get more information since they got their information from a 3rd party vendor but my ISP's 'tech' team has essentially no idea what is the cause. Their only solution to me was to format my computer, which is something I would like to avoid.
I've run virus scans from Bit Defender and Spybot S&D and nothing has shown up. I've also had Zone Alarm, Comodo, and Spyware Blaster installed and yet it seems I still got infected by something.
