Cannot change resolution.. stuck at 600X400

Hello.. i decided to put in this Operating System reinstallation CD (windows xp home edition) so i did.. installed it and chose Upgrade(recommended) .. it installed it and after this den booom my screen went small .. went to da resolution 600X400 and i cant change it if i try changen it it wont move.. like u kno in properties? its stuck der .. can anyone help me out plz? ty .. oo oo and the color is in medium 16 bit, ders no otha option except tat.. ty
