dll extension problems

I try to load the everquest setup and i get this error message
Error Code: -5006 : 0x80070002
Error Information:

ive been having a lot of problems with things relevant to .dll any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

From this error message it appears that the game wasn't installed successfully. When installing the game did you get any error messages? You could try cleaning the CD and trying to reinstall it.
