I recently got a Wii and purchased a wireless router so that I can have internet access on it. The internet works on it most of the time, but since setting up the network, the net cuts in and out of both my computer and the Wii. I'm assuming someone is accessing my connection. I don't think I've set up a password for the network and I want to assure that it's secure. How can I get this connection set up so that it's not cutting in and out?

First, some information.

1) What is the make and model of your router.

Next, some things to check.

1) Is there any cordless phones near your access point or in your house at all. Specifically the 2.4Ghz phones.
2) Make sure that your router is updated to the latest firmware.
