The problems;
Each time I start this laptop it wants to perform a chkdsk /f and when I allow this to run and it comes to the end it wants to direct me to the ASUS mother board settings via f2, I've no idea why nor what to do when I get there.
I can not install the microsoft update; Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP (KB942615) - each time this fails.
I can not perform a defrag to disk C, as the follwing is shown each time;
