Today my antivirus alerted me (Avast). It alerted me of Win 32: TratBHO [trj]. I moved it to the chest. I immmediately alerted me again with a diffetent location with for Win 32: TratBHO [trj]. Again I sent to the chest. It then did it again totaling three times.
I then opened up windows explorer. My home page is Yahoo. Some of the advertisments transformed before my eyes into ads for antivirus and spyware removal ads. Then other tabs on explorer began opening. They were blank. Then one turned into a page wanting to scan my computer for maleware, spyware, and viruses. As I was closeing the windows windows sent me the message: microsoft visual c++ a buffer overrun has been detected on windows explorer. And windows restarted.
My Avast then shut down.
I then ran a virus scan with Avast. It didn't pick up the problem. I ran I then ran spyware teminator. It didn't pick it up. So I did a system restore for a few days back.
After logging back on within seconds Avast alerted me again three times of this virus. This time i choose the delete option. I again opend internet explorer. I also opend up fire fox. The same thing happened. Ads jumping over ads. Windows error alert. Blank tabs popping up. Etc.
I then ran spybot search and destroy. It didn't pick up the problem either, so I tried another system restore. The process repeated itself again.
So now I ran Hijackthis. This is my log. Can someone help me fix this problem?
