Help with Microsoft Works 7.0

I am using Works 7.0 to generate spread sheets and I need to copy portions of several spread sheets to another blank spread sheet. I use to do this with an earlier version of Works using Paste Special tool. Nothing I have done so far will work in Works 7.0. Would someone tell me what I am doing wrong or is it the software?

Sorry for the late response. Did you try selecting the range you wanted to copy, pressing Ctrl-C, and pasting it with Ctrl-V?
