currently my desktop is down right now due to a virus. I have sent off for a new HDD and I am considering dual booting between Vista and OSX Leopard, leaving most of my internet use for OSX and Vista for gaming and Office 2007.
my question is, is this possible? and if so, then will i have trouble involving drivers for my mobo, vid card, etc.?

As for an OS for you, why don't you just try linux? Or if you really want something like Mac OS, try PC-BSD. At it's core, it's basically the same thing, but it's free.

As for linux distros for you, try PCLinuxOS, Ubuntu, or gOS (looks just like OS X). I think you'll be satisfied.

True, but as I said, some sites like this are run by administrators who are sensitive to the topic of piracy.

Sensitive?! I'd say you should go back and read the Terms of Use that you agreed to when all of you joined. It EXPLICITLY states we do not allow it. Period.
